With over 30 years of specialised experience in outside catering, Gourmet Foods is built on a strong foundation of knowledge and experience collected from generations of educated, seasoned chefs to provide culinary excellence and industry expertise.

At the heart of the service is a passion for transforming our clients ideas into reality. From marquee celebrations and corporate events to family occasions, every event presents its own unique challenge. No two events are ever the same, and careful planning is considered just as important as flawless delivery on the day, with extensive experience proving vital.

Over the years, Gourmet Foods has built strong, lasting relationships with a loyal client base. The many letters of praise received from delighted customers stand as a testament to the skill, professionalism, and commitment of this exceptionally talented team.

Laura, the companies 'hands on' director thrives on leading an elite team specialising in bespoke catering using locally sourced produce, while incorporating her passion for elevated cooking, artisan pastry and creative sugar craft. Laura trained at UCB and undertook additional courses in butchery, pastry, and sugar craft. During her training, she worked part-time in various rosette-awarded gastro pubs. After qualifying, she progressed to working within Michelin.

Eager to broaden her expertise and prepare for building and managing her own business, Laura went on to gain experience in financial analysis, human resources, management and marketing. During this time, she also qualified as a Hospitality NVQ Lecturer and Assessor. Alongside this, she has developed a strong reputation within hospitality recruitment, forging long-standing relationships with industry leaders and their teams.

In 2022, Laura took the position of Head Chef at Gourmet Foods, a business that represented a unique opportunity to bring all of her passions together in one place. Guided by veteran business owner and Chef Fenella De' Minkwitz, united by a shared vision for quality and growth, Laura has stepped into the role of Owner-Director.

Fenella has over 30 years specialised experience in outside catering. Following her unique training from renowned experts at the celebrated Cordon Bleu cookery school, Winkfield Place, she gained valuable experience in the restaurant industry before taking the bold step of establishing her own venture, Flavours. A short while later (In 1994) she further expanded her enterprise by acquiring Gourmet Foods, forming a team with a wealth of knowledge and a dedication to delivering excellent food made with the highest quality ingredients.

Since 2022, Laura and Fenella have worked together to ensure the values and vision of Gourmet Foods stay true.

The combination of exceptional culinary skill, operational expertise, and meticulous attention to detail ensures every event is seamlessly managed and executed to the highest standard. With a shared commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding experiences, the team guarantees an event that is organised, efficient, and truly memorable, leaving a lasting impression on every guest.
